A complex topic for me, haha.
For a star... I never thought about this: What is my job dream?
Even now, I can't answer that question: What is my DAMN job dream?
My dad always told me to choose a career or profession that would make me money, for example: medicine, nursing, psychiatry and other professions (all related with area of health care). But, I wasn't interested in those kind of professions. Although, I wasn't bad in Natural Science (Biology, Physics and Chemistry), my interests were in Literature and books. And like a good reader, I started writing my own stories (most of the stories were Yaoi).
So... How did I end up in Journalims? Only God will know.
Sometime, I wanted to edit other writer's stories and I became interested in book editing and publishing. So I wanted to become a Book Editor.
However, when I searching information about this profession (Book Editor), I couldn't find anything. Maybe I was very bad at searching of information about this profession, or maybe the information in Chile about this profession was little.
Anyway, I searching information about careers that could help me become a Book Editor. In the middle of my search, I read about the Journalism career and I found this profession very interesting.
So... here we are! Hahaha.
And I don't know What to do from here.
I only know that I can't to back.

Never stop looking for what makes you happy. Maybe you will find something you are passionate about in journalism, they write a lot. The important thing is not to get discouraged, and to continue experiencing new things. Go on!!!

It is never too late to do what you want. If you want to work in an editorial, you just need to go for it. It may be difficult sometimes, but you are already studying journalism, which makes you one step closer to achieving it.
ResponderEliminarAlso I like write!! jajaja What is your favorite writer? In relation to what you say, some writers were journalists, like Hemingway, Gabriel García Márquez, Truman Capote, so you are not far of what you like.
